If something is broken on your website, the time to get it fixed is now. But if you’re not sure what needs to be done to make that happen, a Website Troubleshooting Session can help.

What’s Involved in a Troubleshooting Session

Since every website problem is unique, it’s difficult to say ahead of time exactly what’s going to happen, but there are some general steps that I take with each session.

After we take care of the housekeeping tasks to get things going (like registration and payment), you’ll complete a Problem Details Questionnaire to give me whatever details you have about what’s not working.

Based on what you’ve told me in the questionnaire, I’ll investigate the situation to figure out what’s going on and determine what’s needed to address the problem.

As you can imagine, this is often a collaborative process with some back and forth communication, where I might need to check with you for details about the history of the website and the problem, as well as the vision for the site moving forward.

Depending on the situation, I might also need access to the administrative area of your website to see what’s what.

Once I figure out what’s going on and what’s needed, I’ll give you specific instructions for what needs to be done to eliminate the problem.

This package covers up to one hour of troubleshooting and direction.

If you have issues implementing the solution, you can reach out to me with questions (up to 2 times as part of this package; additional assistance available for an extra fee). Or, if you’d like me to implement the solution, that can be arranged (for an extra fee) as well.
